Toronto District School Board Gamelan

Repertoire: Traditional. Venerable Son of the Rising Mist. Gamelan program offered throughout Toronto's public schools, inaugurated by Andrew Timar, who designed and ordered large sets of Javanese instruments from Javanese artist Suhirdjan. Timar taught these courses until 2007, when puppeteer David Powell took over.
