International Gamelan Festival Solo 2018

“Homecoming,” the theme of the International Gamelan Festival in August of 2018, was an apt description, as over a thousand participants from many nations and multiple Indonesian regions gathered in Solo for eight days of concerts, symposia, films, art and book exhibits, workshops, tours, and opportunities to interact for scholars, musicians, composers, and “gamelan lovers.” This is a simple list of all groups/individual artists who performed.
