USAL Sundanese Gamelan Music Therapy Ensemble

Sundanese gamelan ensemble on loan from the Embassy of Indonesia in Argentina (KBRI Buenos Aires), hosted at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad del Salvador (USAL). The set is used in the Ensemble Studies course for the training of Clinical and Comunicative Musicality skills among Music Therapy students, through collective improvisation practice. A weekly Stress and Burnout Prevention Program for Medicine and Health Sciences students is also run using the gamelan, coordinated by the Juan Pablo Pereyra and Raquel Gomez, director of the Music Therapy Program.
