L’Atelier De Gamelan

Repertoire: Traditional and new works. Student group founded by professor José Evangelista in fall 1987. Introductory course for students to learn various Balinese music repertoires. First developed through eight consecutive years of instruction by Balinese guest teachers, later taught by Sylvain Mathieu, Éric Vandal, I Dewa Made Suparta, Alexandre David, Putu Arya Deva Suryanegara, and others. Currently taught by Laurent Bellemare.
