Homage to Tradition is a CD of new compositions by Rahayu Supanggah that reimagine traditional Javanese forms while addressing contemporary cultural shifts. Pieces such as Keli, Duet, Kloning, and Balambang draw from macapat, wayang, and older gamelan genres, often blending them with Western instruments or experimental textures.
