(1992). Three Interactions for Two Players, Gender, and Slenthem. Commissioned by percussionist Gino Robair, Yellow Flower Burial is a text-score composition written while Bobrowski was a student at Mills College in Oakland, California. Comprised of three distinct “interactions,” the piece incorporates game-like elements (such as ping pong balls) and found objects (coins, pine cones, flowers) in combination with gamelan instruments.
